ABOUT THE STUDIO

Janine Loucaides,  Founder & Creative Director

Led by Janine Loucaides, Studio Louca has a vision to create unique interiors that bring to life our client's aspirations from the initial design concept through to execution and handover. 

Janine leads the creative team, with a BA Honours in Interior Architecture, along with a wealth of eleven years plus industry experience based in some of London's most highly regarded luxury interior design practices including

Winch Design and Katharine Pooley.

Over her career, Janine has collected a vast wealth of knowledge leading the interior design on high-net worth projects covering traditional listed and period properties, as well as modern projects in the UK, Europe and Middle-East. After completing a once in a lifetime project as the Leading Senior Interior Designer for a 7000 sqm palace, with numerous outbuildings situated across 23 hectares of parkland in Europe, it felt like the right moment for Janine to take the leap and build her own foundation.

The driving creative vision at the heart of Studio Louca is to create timeless luxury interiors that respect the buildings shell and surroundings, providing client's with a space that is harmonised with detail and texture, whilst also seeking to incorporate modern-day technologies in a seamless manner.

Janine particularly relishes creating distinctive treasures in each property that evoke the clients own personal interests and personality. With an immense appreciation of traditional artisans, the studio adores opportunities to utilise the preservation of intangible and priceless craftsmanship in their projects.
